Fully in line with the IEE Code of Practice for In-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment, this service offers a full formal visual Inspection, Earth Continuity, Insulation, Operation & Current Leakage Tests, Polarity checks and a hard copy of all test results for your records. It applies to all 230v & 110v equipment e.g. power tools, extension leads, battery chargers, IT equipment and kitchen appliances (including microwave emission testing), etc.
Regulation 4(2) of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 states:
As may be necessary to prevent danger all systems shall be maintained so as to prevent, so far as is reasonably practical, such danger.
Regulation 5 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 states:
Every employer shall ensure that work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and is in good repair.
